Cancellation & Other Policies

Please note that for most reservation cancellations or modifications, a notice of at least 72 hours prior to the arrival date is required. However, during high season (June 01 – September 30) or special events such as conferences, music festivals, or regattas, a cancellation notice of up to 30 days is required.

If a cancellation notice is provided less than the required time stated in the booking confirmation email, for most reservations a “Late Cancellation Fee” equal to one night at the regular/non-discounted room rate will be charged. For reservations of three nights or longer, the “Late Cancellation Fee” is 50% of the total reservation amount. In the case of a “No Show,” the fee will be equal to the full reservation amount. Please be aware that modifying your reservation will result in a change in the room rate. The minimum stay at Balmoral House is two nights.

To cancel a reservation, it is necessary to send a cancellation notice via email to: reservations@balmoralhouse.com
Cancellations made over the phone will not be considered valid.
For reservations made through third-party providers such as Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, etc., the cancellation must be done on the same website where the booking was made. Please be aware that we are unable to cancel reservations made through third-party providers on our end.
