For most cancellations or modification of reservations: a notice of at least 72 hours is required. For reservations during high season (June – September) or/and special occasions/events (i.e., Conference, Music Festival, Regatta) up to 30 days cancellation notice may be required. If a cancellation notice is not emailed or it is provided less than the required time stated in the reservation confirmation email, the customer will be charged a “Cancellation Fee” equal to two nights of the regular room rate. Reservations longer than 3 nights the cancellation fee is 50% of the entire reservation amount. “No Show” is 100% non-refundable.

FOR CUSTOMERS PROTECTION, A CANCELLATION NOTICE MUST BE E-MAILED. Forward Email to reservations @ BalmoralHouse.com for a confirmation number. Reservations made with BOOKING.COM or EXPEDIA, must be canceled at the same platform where the reservation was made.

MODIFICATION OF RESERVATION: Changing the length of stay may result in a change of the room rate.

Balmoral House is a 100% Smoke-Free establishment under the “Newfoundland and Labrador Smoke-Free Environment Act” (O.C. 98-122). Smoking anywhere on the premises is prohibited. Violating the “Non-Smoking policy” will result in a fine, a room sanitizing and other charges.

Unfortunately, as much as we love pets, we are not able to accommodate any pets. The entire facility is pets free.

There are “City Safety Regulations” that affects the number of people allowed to reside in the premises at the same time.
Therefore, we can only accommodate a maximum of two guests per room.

We do not charge the credit card in advance if you choose to pay on arrival at our facility.
We require a valid credit card information to secure/guarantee a reservation. Prior to guest arrival, we obtain a Credit Card pre-authorization to ensure its validity.

Please make sure Credit Card Information would be valid for the time of arrival. If credit card information is incorrect or would expire before the departure date of the reservation. We reserve the right to consider your reservation as non-valid.

During special events, ie: a conference, and multiple rooms reservations a non-refundable deposit for each room booked may be required.

We automatically apply a discount on a consecutive, multiple nights reservation. The longer the stay, the higher the discount. (One night reservations are usually at a higher rate unless the room is available only for that night). Our Online Booking System also offers better rates for longer stays. Up to 50%, Off-Season Discount is available (November 01 – May 01) for our luxurious rooms, based on more than two nights reservations.

Balmoral House accepts no liability whatsoever for any injury or loss sustained by guests or any other visitors while in the home, or for any loss or damage caused to any property brought to the premises. No responsibility is accepted for any death, illness, loss or damage to property and/or motor vehicles. Balmoral House accepts no responsibility for the quality of services delivered by third-party service providers.

Camping equipment or items like; portable barbeques, fuel or propane tanks of any kind, candles, bicycles or scooters are not allowed in bedrooms. We put an extra effort to deliver high-quality accommodation and expect the guest to be respectful if eating or drinking in the bedrooms. Guests are liable for any damages caused by negligence.
