Cancellation notice is required 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time.
If such notice is not provided, or provided less than 72 hours, the customer will be charged a "No-show Fee" (equal to one night at the regular room rate). In case of multiple rooms reserved, the credit card on file under which the rooms are held will be charged for each applicable room. No extended stay or special rates will apply.

• Changes to a reservation after arrival, requires 24 Hours advance notice.
  (We'll do our best to fill the empty room/s after a short cancellation, and if we are successful no cancellation fee would be charged. Otherwise an "Early Cancellation Fee" (one night at the regular room rate) will be applied on your credit card (previously arranged extended-stay/special rates will be disregarded). In High-Season (May 30 to Oct. 15) change of reservation requires 48 Hours advance notice and the "Early Cancellation" and "No-Show" fees are at a rate of two nights at the regular room rate (extended stay and special rates are disregarded).
  

• Changing the length of reservation.
  Changing the length of a reservation, may result in a nightly rate change.
  

Exceptions: The "Cancellation fee" will be waived in case of an emergency. Sufficient proof of the emergency event is required to be provided by the customer.
 

• We automatically apply a discount on a consecutive, multiple nights reservation.  The longer the stay, the higher the discount.  (One night reservations are usually at a higher rate, unless the room is available only for that night). Our Online Booking System also offers a better rates for longer stays.

  Balmoral House is a 100% Smoke-Free establishment under the "Newfoundland and Labrador Smoke-Free Environment Act" (O.C. 98-122). Smoking anywhere at the premises is prohibited. Violating the "Non-Smoking policy" will result in a fine, a room sanitizing and other charges.
   

• Unfortunately as much as we love pets, we are not able to accommodate any pets. The entire facility is pets free.
   

• There are "City Safety Regulations" that affects the number of people allowed to reside in the premises at the same time.  Therefore, we can only accommodate two guests per room.
   

• The price of the rooms is negotiated before or at the time of making the reservation, prior to the arrival date.
   

• We require a valid credit card information only to secure and guarantee the reservation. 
  We do not charge the credit card in advance. Prior to guest arrival we obtain a pre-authorization from the Credit Card Company to ensure C.C. validity.
   

• No deposits is required, unless a specific arrangement is made.  For a special event and/or group reservation for multiple rooms, a non-refundable deposit may be requested.
   

• Guests are required to settle their accommodation charges the day before departure.
   
   

• Balmoral House accepts no liability whatsoever for any injury or loss sustained by guests or any other visitors while in the home, or for any loss or damage caused to any property brought to the premises. No responsibility is accepted for any death, illness, loss or damage to property and/or motor vehicles.
